Training will enable participants to obtain a Private Applicator License from Texas Department of Agriculture. This license enables applicators to purchase and apply state limited-use and federally restricted chemicals on their land or land over which they have control for the purpose of production of agricultural commodities. All farm and ranch operators who do not have a Private Applicator’s License to purchase “restricted use” pesticides — such as 2, 4-D, Grazon P+D, Tordon 22K, etc. — should attend this training.

The Oct. 3 training will take place at Courthouse Annex III, 1103 Fourth Street, Room 10, in Floresville.
