After reading the Sept. 18 column by Kirsten Schatz and Kelly Giard opposing gasoline-powered lawn and garden tools, I’m wondering this: Why do middle and upper-middle class mostly white people think this is a good idea?
Banning gas-powered lawn mowers will have almost no measurable impact on Denver’s air quality and even less impact on climate change. So why do Schatz and Kelly think it’s a good idea?
